Joey Votto drove in three runs and Elly De La Cruz stole home to lead the Cincinnati Reds to a key 8-5 win over the host Milwaukee Brewers.
It was a back-and-forth affair, with both offenses dealing big blows. The scoring started with Willy Adames hitting a solo home run in the first.
Christian Yelich drove in a run with a double and then Adames went deep again, this time driving in Yelich. Adames has 16 home runs on the season and led Milwaukee on the day with three runs batted in. After the Brewers scored once in the bottom of the fourth and the Reds brought home a run in the top of the fifth, things started to go wrong for Milwaukee in the bottom of the sixth.
