Emily Ratajkowski has given the correct pronounciation of her last name in a new video The model, 31, revealed “the Polish way” in which her name should be pronounced, as opposed to the Americanised way, in a clip posted byIn the viral video, Ratajkowski is asked how her last name is pronounced while sat in a make-up chair getting ready for a fashion show during New York Fashion Week.
Ratajkowski replied that her name is pronounced: “Rah-tah-kove-skee”, leaving the ‘j’ out completely, which fans often include when referring to her.Ratajkowski was born in London and raised in the San Diego, California, in the United States, and previously said she ethnically identities herself as “Polish-Israeli”.
