Cedar Cliff was not supposed to win Wednesday’s District 3 3A field hockey playoff game against Cumberland Valley.
The Colts were just 9-9 and entered as the 12th-seed. The Eagles had 14 wins and came in as the fifth-seed. It was supposed to be Cumberland Valley’s game, but Cedar Cliff never got the memo, scrapping out a 1-0 double-overtime win.
