Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Endeavour season 7 marked another intense, thrilling, and mysterious entry in the British crime drama series. The third entry in the Inspector Morse murder mystery TV franchise, with the previous two being the original Inspector Morse and its spin-off, Lewis, Endeavour serves as a prequel series.
While Morse is initially hesitant to continue their relationship, he is eventually convinced when Violetta confesses that she is in love with him and that she is unhappy with Ludo. Morse himself is in love with Violetta, so they continue their affair and regularly meet up at a house that Violetta claims belongs to her dancer friend who was always traveling.
In the third episode of Endeavour season 7, Bridget Mulcahy's body is found not only in a similar spot in the canal where Molly Andrew's body was discovered but also with a broken neck. Considering that Carl knew Bridget, Fred and Morse arrest and charge him with both her and Molly's deaths. However, Carl is released when the police discover the body of another individual in the canal while he is being questioned in the police building.
Additionally, Fred becomes even more upset with being "proven wrong" when the police are forced to release Carl. As Morse tells Fred, "I am a bagman, not a yes man, I'm here to keep you on the straight and narrow.
