NewYorkCity launched a campaign of digital billboards and social media ads to run in five Florida cities that promote the Big Apple as a place where top city officials say LGBTQ+ people are welcomed as tourists and as residents.

Adams slammed the new law as “the latest shameful, extremist culture war targeting the LGBTQ+ community.”

The law prohibits Florida educators from teaching sexual orientation or gender identity in kindergarten through third grade classrooms. It bars discussing such topics in a manner that is not age- or developmentally-appropriate for students, which could extend the ban to higher grade levels. Parents can sue a school district if they notice a violation. . Celebrities wrote"I say gay" on social media. President Joe Biden denounced the move. Academy Awards hosts ridiculed DeSantis.

The digital billboards and online ads exhibit five different pieces of art. The creations were made and donated, along with ad space, by several companies affiliated with WPP, a multinational advertising network.
