"I thought it was crazy. Every year I'm like, 'Okay, what show are we on?' This year, [the writers] are just not afraid to be honest about what goes on in a real friend group that goes through stuff that is traumatic and as they're growing up," Brett Gray, who plays Jamal, revealed to"We didn't get the last script until like four days before we started shooting.
In season three, Jasmine not only got more screen time, but she also got a brand new BFF to hang out with: Monse. "Cesar has been through so much sh*t because of Spooky. And I want to see Cesar just go off on Spooky. I want to see them explore that. You know, to really hold up the mirror and say look what you made me become," Diego said."As an actor [I want that], just because it's juicy. A a human being, I want them to just correspond with each other and just love each other and, and just become the brothers that they were meant to be.
