FACEBOOK is said to be down again as users in the US and the UK complain about yet another outage. The tech giant has experienced issues two other times in the past week. Downdetector tweeted: R…
Downdetector is reporting that around 53% of the issues are said to be with the website and 26% are said to be with the Facebook app.
Facebook, which owns all three platforms, said that glitch was caused by an error during a routine maintenance job and "not by malicious activity". Estimates of Facebook's lost ad revenue range from $66million to $100million over the seven-hour outage, according to Snopes and Fortune.
