The image that purports to show Anies wearing the KPK detainee orange vest had been doctored, combining two pictures.by local media Detikcom about pandemic restrictions in Jakarta in May 2020. This photo had been digitally inserted onto the image of former social affairs minister Juliari Batubara, who was arrested by KPK in December 2020 for alleged graft in the use of Covid relief funds. Juliari's, published by local media Liputan6, was taken after he was interrogated by the KPK on December 6, 2020.
