When the 2020 Golden Globes nominations were announced Monday morning , fans and critics alike took to social media to express their disappointment for various snubs in a number of categories. Citing directors such as Ava Duvernay , Greta Gerwig and more, many moviegoers were outraged by the lack of female representation in either of the best direction categories.
All snubbed. Not a single female director nominated this year, despite their films receiving nominations in other categories and awards. Don't tell me this business is fair.
