Nurendy Ropon, 22, is being held on investigation of second-degree murder and felony menacing with a deadly weapon, according to an Aurora Police Department news release.

Aurora dentist’s wife fatally poisoned with cyanide and decongestant found in Visine, coroner testifiesRopon and the 34-year-old victim were arguing in front of an apartment complex when Ropon allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed the victim in the neck, the release said. The victim was taken to a hospital where he died of his injuries. His name will be released by the Adams County Coroner’s Office after family has been notified.

Responding officers found Ropon, armed with a knife, a short distance from the stabbing scene, the release said. He was arrested without further incidence.
