The FBI is using social media to try and recruit Russians and other information as the United States continues to aid Ukraine in its war with Russia.

The recruitment video, which was posted to Facebook and Twitter, displays scenes from Washington, D.C., and the Russian Embassy while a narrator speaking Russian tells viewers the FBI is looking for spies, expats, and anyone with information about Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to Fox News.

"Do you want to change your future?" said Assistant Director Alan Kohler of the FBI's Counterintelligence Division."The FBI values you. The FBI can help you, but only you have the power to take the first step." Former CIA Moscow Station Chief Dan Hoffman was supportive of the campaign, telling the outlet that the message on social media was"sharp" and"smart." However, former Defense Intelligence Agency intelligence officer and native Russian speaker Rebekah Koffler were less enthusiastic about the campaign, telling Fox News Digital the FBI's video was flawed and that the narrator’s commentary did not always make sense, which"undermines the FBI’s credibility.
