Dr. Mehmet Oz is.a fundraising leader too, largely on the strength of more than $11 million in commitments from his personal fortune.

McCormick raised $4.35 million from contributors through March 31, according to a new round of campaign finance reports filed with the Federal Election Commission, to lead all Republican candidates in raised donations. With an additional $5.850 million in direct loans to his campaign from January through March, Oz has now put slightly more than $11 million of his personal wealth into the campaign. The Associated Press reported earlier this month that Oz has disclosed total assets of at least $100 million, but it’s still a sizable personal stake.
Altogether, Oz, McCormick and the various independent committees supporting them have accounted for about 80 percent of the early television spending in Pennsylvania, according to Kantar/CMAG’s data.The most prodigious fundraiser in the race in either party, however, remains Fetterman.
