In today’s film news roundup, “Save Yourselves!” and “Becoming” find homes, Cast & Crew buys Media Services, “Parasite” is getting a Criterion special edition and MethodFest unveils early titles. has bought worldwide distribution rights to the survivalist romantic comedy “Save Yourselves!”
Gravitas Ventures has bought North American rights to the horror thriller “Becoming,” starring Toby Kebbell, Beth Broderick, Jason Patric and Penelope Mitchell.The film, directed by Omar Naim, will be available in theaters and on demand March 6. Kebbell and Mitchell play a loving couple who encounter an ancient evil force which slowly takes his mind and body.
Media Services will continue to operate as a distinct brand under the leadership of Barry Oberman, Chief Executive Officer.The Criterion Collection will issue special Blu-ray editions of Bong Joon Ho’s “Parasite” and “Memories of Murder.”
