SCDF conducted forcible entry into the coffee shop and extinguished the fire using a water jet.
A fire broke out at coffee shop at Block 747 Yishun Street 72 in the early hours of Tuesday morning .
A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a photo and video of thick black smoke coming from the first floor of the block. In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to the fire at 12.40am. "The fire involved contents of a kitchen in a coffee shop on the first floor," an SCDF spokesman said.There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
