A team of craftspeople for luxury U.K. auto maker Bentley has turned out a limited series of bespoke cabin cushions — or pillows, as North Americans call them — for a fleet of Bentleys delivering their majesties King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla and their royal entourage to this weekend’s coronation events.A team of craftspeople for luxury U.K.
The emblem consists of two separate thread colors and three different colorways — or, in design parlance, a range of color combinations — to contrast against the individually-selected animal hides meant to match the interiors of the Bentleys that will use them. The cushions will remain with some of Bentley’s promotional cars after the May 6 coronation, and are not available for public purchase, the company said.
