The decision came two months ago, after the former mayor asked McCray, "Why aren't you lovey-dovey anymore?" That question then led to discussion, which according to de Blasio and McCray, helped them to come to a conclusion.Though separated, both say they will continue to share the Park Slope townhouse where they raised their two children.
