According to court paperwork, Eric Fairman — who was a coach for multiple youth sports organizations — groped, sent explicit photos to and emotionally manipulated his victims.

In one case, a then-13-year-old victim accused Mr. Fairman of sexually assaulting him by penetration, the first such allegation made against him. He faces charges of statutory sexual assault and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse in that case. One victim, identified as “Victim #8,” told investigators that he and Mr. Fairman were playing pool together at the boy’s home when the coach asked if they could “play for something.” Mr. Fairman suggested he could get to beat up the boy if he won the game.
Other victims reported similar behavior, with one saying Mr. Fairman sent a text message saying, “are you mad at me?” before assaulting him. He also told investigators that Mr. Fairman offered him $200 to perform oral sex on him when he was in 11th grade.
