Friends, family wrap up 3-day search for missing Oakley woman

Hundreds of volunteers from East Contra Costa County and beyond showed up to search for 24-year-old Alexis Gabe, who went missing on Jan. 26.

Hundreds of volunteers from East Contra Costa County and beyond showed up to search this weekend for 24-year-old Alexis Gabe, who went missing on Jan. 26 without a trace.

Family members and friends have looked ever since, participating in flyer distributions, Facebook Live updates, fundraisers and more. Oakley police have said little, but did serve a search warrant at the ex-boyfriend’s home though he has not been named a suspect.
