Frisco to provide Christmas tree recycling
curbside on regular trash/recycling days. The trees will be made into compost and mulch.
Trees must be no more than 4-to-5 feet in length and weigh no more than 60 pounds each. Trees must not be covered with a plastic bag and all support materials must be removed as well as all decorations and lights. For pickup, place trees out on service day, uncovered and at least 3 feet from carts at the edge of the driveway.
Flocked or artificial trees are not compostable so they will not be accepted. To schedule a bulk trash pick-up for, residents can call Frisco Environmental Services at 972-292-5900..
