A developer behind plans which could see more than 200 houses built on the edge of Crieff has released more details in relation to the wide-ranging proposal. The 7.62-hectare site is near Tighnacoille and the plans also include scope for new play parks and areas of open public space, as well as a new landscaped woodland path down the eastern boundary of the land.
“The careful design of the landscape and street layout reflect the principles of the approved masterplan and build on them to create a new neighbourhood with a cohesive sense of place while reflecting the identity that is particular to this part of Crieff.” A design statement adds: “The new homes would come with options for solar panels and electric car charging points to support new homeowners to cut carbon and lower household bills.”
The spokesperson said: “We’re really pleased to be bringing forward exciting proposals for Crieff, which will deliver much-needed, high-quality new homes, create jobs and see a significant investment made in improving the local community.
