The supply of gas on the East Coast, GasBuddy said, 'remains tight.'
The national average price for gas has fallen for the 13th straight week but some areas of the United States are seeing prices increase.The average price in Pennsylvania is $3.92 a gallon.prices in the Harrisburg area are 33 cents lower than a month ago and almost 68 cents higher than a year ago.
“Refinery issues in California are leading to increases in areas supplied by the state’s refineries, including areas of Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and of course, California. Crude prices have dropped, AAA said, “amid ongoing market concerns that oil demand will fall if economic growth slows or stalls due to a recession. Crude prices will likely follow suit if demand declines due to reduced economic activity.”
