SINGAPORE: The election expenses returns of candidates who contested in the General Election 2020 will be available for inspection from Friday to Feb 20, 2021, the Elections Department said on Thursday.
The returns will be available for inspection at the ELD for a period of six months, and a fee of S$2 is payable for the inspection. For Single Member Constituencies , the maximum amount a candidate can spend is capped at S$4 for each elector in that electoral division. Election expenses incurred by a candidate can be paid by the candidate's political party, or an authorised officer of the party, in accordance with the authorisation of the candidate’s election agent.
