The Patriots soared to an 8-1 victory over the Pirates to advance to the quarterfinals.
Reese Metcalfe, Kayla Sciortino and Sophie Tonino each had an assist and Ashley Moore collected a save for the Patriots. Monroe tallied seven of its eight goals in the first half. Sofia Gartner and Marlee Koken both scored two goals in the first half for the Falcons. Dani Lovaglio, Angelina Rocha and Dani Lovaglio each also found the net during the first 40 minutes of play for Monroe.Stephanie Caprio tallied the final Monroe goal in the second half to set a new season-high mark for the Falcons.
