House Republicans are calling on President Joe Biden’s national security adviser to sit for public questioning about the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan aft

He asked for Sullivan to appear next month and said that he is prepared to “compel his testimony” if he does not voluntarily appear in front of the committee. “Evidence gathered by the Committee in this investigation points to Mr. Sullivan as the principal architect of Afghanistan policy,” McCaul wrote.
As Taliban forces entered the capital, U.S. forces were forced to hastily evacuate its embassy and the remainder of citizens from Kabul’s airport. That was when a suicide bombing carried out by ISIS-K, killed 13 U.S. troops, dozens of Afghans and injured many more.
