But now we’ve got to keep it going and hopefully we can make a run at the state tournament.” It appeared as though the Govs were going to run away early. The Boll Weevils took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning, but after scoring four runs in the bottom of second inning and five more in the third, Wallace had a 9-1 lead.
