Grab Philippines is ramping up efforts to onboard more driver-partners following the opening of new transport network vehicle service slots to cater to increasing demand for ride-hailing services. | TyronePiad /PDI
In a statement on Friday, the super app operator said it recently held an event in Marikina City to fill the TNVS slots made available by the Land Transportation, Franchising and Regulatory Board .Grab said almost a thousand potential driver-partners participated in the event since fewer requirements were now needed for the franchise application.
“We are optimistic that through [such events], we are taking the right step toward providing more livelihood in the ride-hailing sector, while offering our commuters with safe, reliable and more affordable means of mobility for their everyday needs,” he added.
