SINGAPORE — Grab has launched its new Quiet Ride service for Singapore commuters who prefer a private-hire vehicle (PHV) ride with minimal conversation.

The company made the announcement on its Facebook page on Monday , saying"you asked for a bit of quiet, we heard you loud and clear".

Quiet Ride is free-of-charge, and can be enabled and saved for future GrabCar rides by toggling on the “Quiet Ride” feature in the Grab app.When users activate Quiet Ride, they will receive a notification in their Grab app inbox informing them that the feature has been enabled. “During a Quiet Ride, we do our best to inform driver-partners of your preference for minimal conversation,” the company added.
