SAN DIEGO — Some may have noticed flyers posted all over San Diego County with the faces of the men, women, and children who were kidnapped by Hamas.“The idea was to create awareness. We have many friends that were taken and Israel is a small country so we know each other and each of us has someone that they know was taken," Lavi said.
“There is a real person behind it," Lavi said."You can see pictures, you can see names, you can see age – you can see that there were kids from babies 3 months old to holocaust survivor, 85 years old and we are telling their stories." “We thought as a community, and it's not just here in San Diego, we have a big group of people all around the world, and definitely here in the U.S. on how we can support," she added.
