A new featurette for the higly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special has arrived, giving fans some behind-the-scenes looks at the special.
has arrived, giving fans some behind-the-scenes looks at the upcoming Disney+ special.In the new featurette — which opens similarly to that of a Christmas story — the history of the special is talked about, with Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige saying that director James Gunn brought up the idea jokingly before they ended up writing it.
The special, which will premiere on Disney+ on November 25, 2022, sees the Guardians traveling to Earth during Christmas time. Their goal is to find a gift for Star-Lord , who has been upset following Gamora’s disappearance at the end ofTheir plan leads them to Hollywood, where Drax and Mantis go out in search of Kevin Bacon , an actor Star-Lord has praised in past films., where they teamed up with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor for some intergalactic adventures in the film’s first act.
