There was no immediate Israeli comment. Washington dropped 38,000 meals from military aircraft into Gaza on March 2, though aid agencies say this can have only a marginal impact, given the hundreds of thousands of people who are now in desperate need of food.Since then, Israeli forces have killed more than 30,000 Palestinians, according to Gaza health authorities, with thousands more likely dead and unrecovered under the rubble.
