'Hamish' is being well cared for but his owner has still to be found
The little terrier which took the train from Kildare to Dublin yesterday remains in the care of an Iarnród Éireann employee.
Ted Maher, who also volunteers at My Lovely Horse Rescue animal sanctuary, is looking after the dog, who has been temporarily named Hamish. Bemused passengers alerted rail staff to the ticketless canine when he took the 8.46am service from Sallins to Heuston Station yesterday.Iarnród Éireann has appealed for his owner to come forward.
