With that said, creator Laurie Nunn always planned to end the show with its latest season.
However, we could get more show based in Moordale as Nunn teased future spinoffs post Sex Education season 4. She told “I’m definitely taking a break and thinking about other things. But Moordale is a really rich world, and writing about teenagers is always a lot of fun. So, I think that there’s always potential for more to be explored in that world.”
Whether the spinoffs are based on certain characters from Sex Education remains to be seen. But, since Nunn loves writing about teenagers, it’s possible for the spinoff to focus on some new characters from a different school in Moordale.The series continues to be one of the better originals for the streamer with its high viewership numbers. It hasn’t been removed from Netflix.
As season 4 is supposed to be the final one, fans appear to be confusing its lack of renewal with it being taken down. However, no such thing has happened with Sex Education and, at the time of writing, it is still available to watch on Netflix.
