Singapore's Housing and Development Board has issued notes under its medium-term note programme with a 2.210% annual coupon, semi-annual interest payments, and a 2033 maturity. The notes, placed with institutional investors, have received in-principle approval for listing on SGX-ST and were arranged by a consortium of leading banks.
The Housing and Development Board ( HDB) of Singapore announced on 14 July 2026 the issuance of notes under its medium-term note programme. The notes carry an annual coupon rate of 2.210%, with interest paid semi-annually, and will mature on 14 July 2033.
They were issued in denominations of $250,000 and were placed with institutional and accredited investors, in accordance with Singapore's Securities and Futures Act 2001. Approval in principle has been secured for the notes to be listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST), enhancing their liquidity and market accessibility.
The issuance was jointly arranged by Bank of China, DBS Bank Ltd., Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited, The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd., Singapore Branch, and United Overseas Bank Limited, which served as joint lead managers and bookrunners. This issuance supports HDB's mandate to fund its development programmes, meet working capital requirements, and refinance existing borrowings, thereby contributing to Singapore's public housing and urban development objectives
