Dan Gee, a retired Navy veteran, said his mission is to help the home that raised him.
After 21 years in the Navy, Gee retired as a senior chief petty officer. He obtained a master’s degree in psychology, became a marriage and family therapist, a licensed minister with the Christian and Missionary Alliance and is an associate pastor.
He now serves on the board of the children’s shelter he credits for saving him and his brother, James. Gee said his mission is to help the home that raised him.
