In 1906, Frank Cudell gifted the land to the City of Cleveland, with the request it stay a park forever.
“I am Gail Lundberg. I am a descendent of Emma Mueller Cudell, wife of Frank Cudell, and Jacob Mueller, Emma’s father…Having been made aware of this ongoing dispute, I stand in support of preserving Cudell Commons as a green space as clearly defined by Frank Cudell in his will of 1914 as well as the 1906 deed…Their intent was clear and undeniable and cannot nor should not be minimized or ignored.”
