Nine House Republicans joined with the Democrats to pass the $1.7 trillion omnibus budget bill that will fund the government for the rest of fiscal 2023.

The group included a number of centrist Republicans who are not returning to Congress next year and who have joined Democrats in several votes over the past few months. Every House Democrat voted for the omnibus legislation except for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez , who voted"no," and Rep. Rashida Tlaib , who voted"present."The House Republicans who voted for the omnibus are Reps.

Katko, Kinzinger, Cheney, Upton, and Herrera Beutler were part of the"impeachment 10," the only Republicans who voted supported the second attempt to impeach former President Donald Trump. Only two of those 10 are returning to Congress in January. In the Senate, 18 Republicans voted to pass the omnibus. They were Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Sens.
