As of this latest PS5, Xbox Series X and PC patch, Hogwarts Legacy now has its own arachnophobia mode, and other bug fixes.
. This will change nothing for anyone except those who opt into the mode. And again, phobias are not people being “soft,” nor were they invented by “woke” people in the last few years. They are real things and if accommodations are being made for this group, literally who cares. We have also seen recent games do thalassophobia settings to reduce player fear of deep water .
Anyway, enough about spiders. The other key part of this patch is something like 500 bug fixes in total, so the jankier parts of the game you may have run into may not be as janky anymore. You canThere are also performance issues for console, and especially PC, in addition to upscaling and raytracing fixes.
As ever, we still have no announced plans that Hogwarts Legacy will get DLC or an expansion. With its massive sales it would seem kind of odd todo something like that, unless the plan is to move directly to Hogwarts Legacy 2 instead. But we’ll have to see. For now, patch away, and if your fear of spiders was holding you back, feel free to dive in now.
