Edward Moydell will leave his current role in the Pacific Northwest to take charge at Holden, which comprises the Holden Arboretum in Kirtland & the Cleveland Botanical Garden in the city's University Circle neighborhood on Sept. 1, Holden announced.

The Holden board selected Moydell following a national search, aided by Koya Partners executive recruiting firm. “I have two passions in life: plants and people,” Moydell said in a new release from Holden Forests & Gardens. “This role will allow me to bring those passions together in powerful ways.” “Ed brings a demonstrated track record of success, along with the energy and innovative spirit to lead Holden Forests & Gardens into its exciting next chapter,” Holden board Chairman Tom Anderson said in the release.
