HongKong: Shares down at open

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks kicked off on Thursday with small losses as global growth concerns overshadowed hopes for the China-US trade talks.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.05 per cent, or 1.57 points, to 3,103.67 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, dipped 0.13 per cent, or 2.17 points, to 1,658.24.
