House Republicans passed a resolution on Thursday condemning the housing of illegal immigrants in taxpayer-funded schools.

“Let’s remember who Republicans are targeting with this language,” he said. “They’re targeting migrants — many of them asylum seekers who come to this country, who risk their lives — and to our cities seeking safety and stability.” Rep. Claudia Tenney, New York Republican, said communities in upstate New York are paying the price for leaders in New York City who failed to plan adequately for the influx of migrants and the Biden administration’s failed border policies.
