This past spring, just prior to being low amateur of the 2022 U.S. Open, Vick drained the clinching putt to secure a national golf championship for the University of Texas.
Vick said close to 50 people — family, friends, supporters — were part of his gallery. On Thursday he carded six birdies and four bogeys. Vick is looking forward to the spring golf season at Texas for his senior year. After his college career concludes, he is chomping at the bit to play fulltime on the PGA Tour.
