Alison Brie explains why working with Danny Pudi on her new movie made her even more excited to get started on the upcoming Community movie. Community's "six seasons and a movie" is finally coming to fruition, with the movie officially announced in September 2022. Although Community lived on the bubble for its run, the series gained a dedicated following.

Alison Brie: Originally the character was named Danny. Then we made a big leap over to Benny, but we wrote the role for Danny. We were lucky enough that he agreed to do it, and it was a blast. It was so fun. It was everything you'd think.
