How much, or little, is there to take from Ohio State’s win over Indiana? Andrew Gillis observations

There are some areas for the Buckeyes where you can learn a lot. And for a handful of others, you can't learn anything.

Despite the Buckeyes throwing 36 times throughout the day, the two combined for five catches for 34 yards. That’s just 23.80% of the catches and 14.34% of the passing yards.

Ohio State didn’t allow any sacks, nor did they allow an egregious amount of tackles for loss . But the offensive line certainly wasn’t where the Buckeyes would want, or need, it to be as the schedule strengthens moving forward. Against a team like Indiana, the Buckeyes can get away with that. The Hoosiers averaged just 2.8 yards per play and were essentially zero threat, at any point, to score a touchdown. Against Notre Dame, Penn State and Michigan, those mistakes don’t just cost you drives — they cost you games.
