Huawei Nova 5 is expected to arrive in Malaysia soon
is expected to come to Malaysia very soon and we managed to get a glimpse of the device at today’s press conference.
According to Bill Liu, Huawei Malaysia’s Country Director for Consumer Business, they are already in the planning stage for the Nova 5 series. No launch dates were mentioned and it isn’t clear if Malaysia will be getting all three models – Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro and Nova 5i. The Huawei Nova 5 series comes with a quad-camera setup and it was launched in China two weeks ago. The top of the line Nova 5 Pro features a 6.39″ Full HD+ OLED display that comes with a tiny notch and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Powering the device is a flagship-class Kirin 980 processor.. It features a 48MP f/1.8 main camera, a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens, and two 2MP shooters that’s used for depth and macro shots. In front, the device comes with a 32MP f/2.0 selfie camera.
There’s also a more affordable Nova 5 which is pretty much identical to the Pro model but it runs on a new Kirin 810 processor. This is Hi-Silicon’s latest mid-range SoC that’s based on a 7nm process and it comes with its own dedicated NPU. According to
