The circumstances of Victor Enrique Castaneda Jr’s death remain unclear.

A human head discovered floating near the shoreline of the town of Key Biscayne in Florida has been identified as belonging to Mr Victor Enrique Castaneda Jr, a 19-year-old swimmer who was reported missing on Nov 9.

Despite an intensive three-hour search, his body was not found, and his family has since been waiting for answers. Officials said the circumstances of Mr Castaneda’s death remain unclear. The medical examiner has not yet determined the cause or manner of death and while foul play has not been ruled out, investigators say there are no signs of criminal activity at this stage.
