“I went to Terry Heights Elementary School, Stone Middle School, Butler High School,” McGinnis told the Lede. “None of those schools are here today.” McGinnis earned a scholarship to play basketball at Texas A&M and played a couple of years professionally overseas after his playing days were over as an Aggie.
