Then I started seeing someone in 2020 and switched from the pill to an IUD for, erm, obvious reasons. According to my endocrinologist, my body had a delayed reaction to the lack of birth control pill and my testosterone went haywire to the point of balding.
For me, it trudges up memories of my body making life unnecessarily difficult . My body has been too big to fit into standard clothing sizes. It's also, at times, been too thin to fit into the plus-size community. Too tall for my male crushes to look in my direction without cowering. Too muscular to have what I thought was a typical girl's figure yet too soft for a successful competitive teen athlete .
