Nature research paper: Injury prevents Ras mutant cell expansion in mosaic skin

-stacks were acquired in 2–3 μm steps to image a total depth of 90–900 μm of the tissue. ImSpector v7.5.2 was used for 3D image acquisition. . Mice were imaged at different time points after tamoxifen treatment and injury induction as indicated. To revisit the same area of the skin epidermis, organizational clusters of hair follicles and vasculature were used as landmarks.To prepare whole mounts of mouse ear, skin was separated from connective tissue using forceps and incubated in 4% paraformaldehyde at 37 °C for 4 h.
