Major changes are coming to iPhones with Apple ’s iOS 18 update. It will be available to download for free and comes with several new features and improvements to iPhones. These include greater customisation of your home screen, a redesigned photos app and changes to text messages. It comes after Apple announced the new iPhone 16 model last week. This will come with Apple Intelligence, a series of AI tools that should make your phone easier to use.
In the new photos app, there will be a single grid view with recent photos at the top. Collections of pictures such as people, pets and trips will be automatically organised. The update will also filter screenshots and allow you to view them by month or year. In a major update to iPhones, you will be able to schedule messages to be sent later. Text formatting options will also be introduced with the ability to use bold and italic in your texts, as well as underlining certain words.
