On a very cold day in December with the weakest rays of the sun, the warm air coming out of that black homemade solar collector reached 160 degrees for a few hours a day.

Is global warming for real? Does the burning of fossil fuels cause global warming? What about the color black? Does it contribute to global warming? Let’s see. Many years ago, I made a black solar collector and faced it south toward the winter sun. Even on a very cold day in December with the weakest rays of the sun, the warm air coming out of that homemade solar collector reached 160 degrees for a few hours a day.

Today, when I see fields filled with black solar collector and buildings with black metal roofing and black solar collectors mounted on the roofs of homes and other structures, it makes me wonder if black is also a cause of global warming.
